Stereo MC’s 2027 European TourIn 2027, UK electronic dance and hip-hop pioneers Stereo MC’s embark on a major European tour to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their seminal, multi-platinum album, Connected.
Born out of London's late-1980s underground scene, building tracks in a south London apartment on a 4-track tape machine, the group rewired British club culture by seamlessly blending hip-hop, dub, lyricism, house, funk, and electronic beats. Three and a half decades after its 1992 release, the infectious groove of Connected remains as potent as ever, reminding the world why they are one of the most iconic dance acts in British music history.
35 Years of Connected Released in November 1992 on Island Records, Connected became a global phenomenon, peaking at #2 on the UK album charts and winning the band two Brit Awards. The album generated a string of timeless, dancefloor-filling singles including: "Connected" "Step It Up" "Ground Level" and "Creation." Renowned for their explosive live energy, the 2027 anniversary tour brings the band's signature rhythm back to Europe. The core touring lineup preserves the vital chemistry that started it all: Rob Birch (Rob B) - Frontman and vocalist /producer, Nick Hallam - DJ /producer, Cath Coffey – powerhouse vocalist and Tansay Omar - Drummer and percussionist.
The 2027 European tour is more than a celebration of the past; it is a celebration of a timeless rhythm that connects generations.
